Wow, what a mess :-(
And it's a really useful piece that can live in a home with a fire, or an area that needs a simple screen - i think these look good amongst plants too.
It's a fire screen, then tilts to rest on a gate leg to make a low occasional table
Sadly the material would not clean so we had to think of an alternative, and given this is quite an old fashioned piece, I wanted to give it a quirky update.
We painted it black and added the Zebra wallpaper - and I am in love....
