This item came from a house clearance and just needed a really good clean and spruce.
I wanted to keep the original backing but once it was painted it just did not pop, so i changed the backing to my trusted gold fabric.
The veneer was not in great condition, so i lined the top and bottom with one of my favourite wallpapers.
