These farmhouse shelves in pine are really marmite.
I see a lot of them on up-cycling sites but am not so keen on the country look myself.
I do like black and gold (can you tell?)
This one ended up in my dressing room.
And yes the crown is upside down, and there is a story behind that which I can tell you if you ask....
